I thought it was interesting... couldn't find my IP addy so i did a search and found that site.

Very out of the know here so I have to ask if I ever want to know right?

How does knowing an IP help me? What would I need to know an IP # for?

If some time you are trying to get into the chat room and seem to be blocked, the server tech needs your IP in order to check for any blocks or bans your IP might be caught in by mistake.

Some people like to change their IP if they are blocked from certain forums by and "IP block/ban."

I'm sure there are other reasons, but I am not a tech. I will try to get one over here to explain more if there is more to explain.

I was blocked from a site because of my IP. Didn't know what they were talking about and I still don't.Guess I better check it out!
